Florida is a place for people all over the world to relax and to get away from their day to day lives, and that includes those who live in Florida! If you feel in the need for a get-away, here are 2 awesome places to check out in Florida.
Devil’s Den Prehistoric Spring: Located in Williston Florida, this spot is certainly a sight to see. When looking around the area there is nothing too special, just your typical greenery, but walking closer and closer reveals a gaping hole in the ground revealing a clear blue underground river. At the Devil’s Den, they offer snorkeling and scuba diving options (unfortunately no general swimming is allowed) and right by the den there is the Cedar Lakes Woods Japanese Botanical Garden!
John and Mable Ringling Art Museum: Located in Sarasota Florida, this art museum represents the heart and soul of Sarasota. John and Mable Ringling brought great cultural development to Sarasota with their circus and shows, and this museum encapsulates that spirit and more. Here you can find many older and more contemporary works of art, along with many items from the circus the Ringlings ran. You can also see their mansion which has been transformed into its own exhibit. While you’re in Sarasota as well you can check out Siesta Key beach which is rated one of the best beaches in Florida!
