HURRICANE HELENE

In September of 2024, Hurricane Helene struck Florida as a Category 4 and is considered one of the most powerful strikes in Florida ever.

With windspeeds reaching 140MPH and landing on the west coast of Florida in our "backyard," we experienced first hand the devastation in most of our own neighborhoods. The flooding was something we have not seen in this area in over 30 years.

As the coast is continuously being rebuilt, new regulations and insurance requirements include raising homes to new heights and standards. In many cases homes that fall below the required height can not be rebuilt because of the Fema 50% rule. Once elevated, your home is no longer subject to this rule and can be returned to its pre-storm condition.

That's where we come in. AJS Building Moving & Leveling has committed to a new location in South Florida, on the ground in the heart of the destruction.

With decades of experience, unparalleled technique, and state-of-the-art equipment, we are dedicated to house elevation and structure moving services, as well as helical pile installation and foundation stabilization.
